Frequently asked questions.
Do you accept custom jewelry orders?
I accept custom orders on a limited basis. My primary focus is creating original one-of-a-kind pieces, but I'm happy to consider custom work that aligns with my artistic style and current workflow. If you have something special in mind, please reach out through my contact form with details about your vision. While I'd love to bring every idea to life, I'm not able to accommodate all requests due to my focus on maintaining the integrity of my design aesthetic and production schedule.
How long will my item take to ship?
All items marked as "ready to ship" will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Made to order and custom pieces require 2-4 weeks to complete before shipping. Please allow 1 business day for order processing before shipping begins for ready-to-ship items.
Occasionally I travel for shows, sourcing materials, or me/family time which may extend shipping times. If this affects your order, I'll notify you of any delays.
All orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage and include insurance and tracking information. You'll receive an email notification with tracking details once your item ships.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
While I want every client to love their piece, I do not accept returns. However, if there's a problem with your jewelry, I will absolutely make it right.
Please make informed decisions about your purchase, especially ring sizing, before ordering. If you have any issues with your order, contact me through the contact form so we can address them together – I want you to be happy with your piece.
All jewelry is handmade by me, Corrie. As artisan work, my pieces may have slight imperfections that add character and contribute to the one-of-a-kind nature of each creation.
Do you offer repairs or polishing services?
I do not offer ongoing cleaning or repair services, but if something goes wrong with your Chasing Stones piece, please contact me. I want you to love your jewelry, and I will do my best to help with any concerns.
Will sterling silver tarnish?
Yes, silver does tarnish and develops a natural patina over time. This is a natural process that occurs due to a chemical reaction when sterling silver is exposed to air and various substances. To help reduce tarnish, limit exposure to salty air, chlorine, sulfer, moisture, and perspiration. Also household chemicals, cosmetics, and bleaches. To manage tarnishing, regular cleaning and proper storage in a dry, sealed container can help maintain the peice’s shine. Silver gets dramatic when exposed to too much air. Wear your silver often! Silver actually prefers you skin’s natural oils to sitting alone in a drawer feeling neglected. Gently clean with a solt polishing cloth for light tarnish or warm soapy water for more stubborn spots. Remember…a little tarnish just means your silver has character- like laugh lines but shinier!
Are you pieces hypoallergenic?
All pieces are made from sterling silver, whick is nickle-free and generally well tolerated. On occasion I do use copper in my pieces. Copper may contain tracels of nickle, which can cause allergic reactions in some people. If copper is used it will state details in the description.
