Millions of years ago, this stone was a living tree. Over time, minerals slowly replaced the wood, turning it to stone while preserving every line of its grain. It was found in Wyoming and cut and polished by my husband, then set by me, a true family collaboration from rough rock to finished ring.
Designed to be big, bold, and timeless, the long oval cabochon sits in a serrated sterling silver bezel framed by layers of twisted wire. The wide, richly textured band is edged with rows of silver beads, and the whole piece is oxidized for an antique, heirloom finish, as if it had been handed down for generations.

Care: Petrified wood is a durable stone, but avoid hard knocks and harsh chemicals. Polish the raised silver gently with a soft cloth and avoid the recessed areas to preserve the antique patina.
